My client is a well regarded, traditional firm of chartered accountants who are looking to strengthen their team and recruit an Accountant at their practise in Darlington.

You must be AAT qualified or above or at least be studying towards level 3 or 4.

ACA/ACCA studies can be offered to an AAT qualifed candidate who may wish to progress their career.

Repsonsibilities of an Accountant will be:

  • Accounts Preparation
  • Bookkeeping
  • VAT
  • Payroll
  • Corporation Tax
  • Personal Tax
  • Advising clients on bookkeeping software

Experience of software such as IRIS, Xero and Bright Pay would be beneficial, alongside strong IT and organisational skills.

Experience of working within a practise is essential.

The position is office based but can be flexible around a hybrid working pattern.

Hours of work: Mon - Fri

37.5hrs per week
