Client Details

Michael Page Finance are happy to be working together with a leading agricultural feed manufacturer based in Lichfield. The business is well known in the manufacturing space for their quality and innovation and are looking for someone who is confident building strong working relationships with stakeholders through providing insightful information.

The Finance Manager will work closely with stakeholders within commercial, supply chain and procurement teams, providing support and insight into operational performance. Key deliverables include the continuous development of cost base, development of supply chain, combining of financial, non-financial and operational metrics to drive business performance.

Description

As Finance Manager for this manufacturing business, your duties will involve but are not limited to:

  • Provide relevant, insightful information to relevant stakeholders; ensure the period performance is understood and implications for future profitability understood.
  • Commercial specie/regional performance down to an EBIT level to support business decisions.
  • Overall ownership of the full budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Finance lead for capital investments. Critically understand requirements and benefits before approval; manage capital projects in Kainexus, ensure governance and milestone management are adhered to, assist in the preparation of ROI, tracking performance.
  • Support Continuous Improvement teams, specifically linked to the PIP (profit improvement plan), preparing financials, KPIs and tracking progress.
  • Preparation of procurement cover reports, identifying risk and opportunities linked with pricing/buying.
  • Ensure reporting and processes are simple, streamlined and continuously improving.
  • Be part of the team to ensure period end reporting is accurate, timely and ad hoc finance requirements.

  • Qualified Accountant - ACCA or CIMA
  • Financial control & risk management experience

  • Strong excel skills
  • Power BI experience
