Accountant

A successful and longstanding Motor dealership based in the Ellesmere port area are seeking a confident and experienced Accountant to join the team and take care of the day to day financial responsibilities of the business in this office based role.

The Accountant will preferably have prior experience within the motor trade and will also have practical experience preparing the month end / year end and the budget preparation for the year.

The role is office based and will offer study support to the successful candidate if necessary alongside the chance to progress in your career in the tight knit team.

Accountant Position Overview

Preparing up to month end & year end ready to pass off to the external accountants

Submitting VAT returns

Preparing budgets and providing management packs to help future growth

Post accruals, prepayments and other necessary journals

Process Payroll for the business

Accountant Position Requirements

AAT qualified or QBE will be considered

Experience within the motor industry would be beneficial

Experience handling the finances up until year-end

Motivated individual who is able to work to deadlines

Accountant Position Remuneration

£24,000 - £32,000 dependent on experience

20 days Holiday per year + Bank Holidays
