Accountant

An established and successful firm of accountants based in Ashbourne have the following job opportunity available. Full or part time hours may be considered for someone with suitable experience gained from working in an accountancy firm. The role on offer can be anywhere between a Semi Senior AND Senior Accountant in the firm's accounts and tax department.

Those qualified in ACCA, ACA or AAT would have the opportunity for a strong remuneration package and key role, but people qualified by their experience with experience of working in an accountancy firm would be equally valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, and partnerships, limited companies
• Personal and corporate tax
• Preparation or review of bookkeeping and VAT returns, dependent on your level plus management accounts
• Prioritising workload effectively to meet deadlines

The firm are seeking someone who will have:

• Experience working within an accountancy practice and the preparation of financial statements

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.

A knowledge of Xero, Sage and Quickbooks desirable, but systems can be taught.

Position is full time ideally, but part time applications considered, 37.5hrs Monday to Friday
