The Role
The Talent Acquisition Manager / Recruitment Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and running of an efficient and cost-effective talent acquisition strategy. This will include all aspects of candidate attraction and selection. The Talent Acquisition Manager / Recruitment Manager will work closely with the People Advisors and Hiring Managers to agree the best sourcing strategy to attract and place high quality candidates that live and breathe there values

The role holder will have significant input into the design of our employer brand, acting as its custodian and promoting it across all internal and externally facing channels. You will have line management responsibility of 2 x Talent Sourcers.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with business leaders to establish and implement the talent acquisition strategy to support the delivery of iQ's vision and people strategy.
* Continuously review and update the Company's recruiting and hiring policies, procedures and processes for the UK to ensure strong recruitment performance across both head office and Site recruitment.
* Develop D&I strategies that will attract talent that is representative of the market and communities we operate in, while implementing selection and assessment activities which are fair, equitable and consistent.
* Lead on candidate attraction, sourcing and selection processes: working with People Team and Leaders to understand the essential requirements for roles, sourcing candidates, reviewing application quality.
* Responsible for the sourcing of candidates for Head Office vacancies as guided by and in collaboration with the HR Manager - Support; and Hiring Managers.
* Maintain and develop new recruitment agency relationships, including negotiation of Terms of Business.
* Shape and structure competency and values-based interviews, carrying these out where required.
* Sourcing and implementing effective and relevant assessments or testing.
* Is a super-user and manages the Applicant Tracking System (Earcu), identifying and implementing systems changes where required, including the onboarding functionality.
* Management of the recruitment budget identifying risks to People Director and Finance
* Recruitment administration such as interview scheduling for Support based hiring and where necessary for site-based recruitment.
* Collaborate with People Managers and Business Leaders to ensure that resourcing requirements are met during peak periods such as summer turn-around and check-in.
* Stakeholder relationship management, partnering with hiring managers and People Team to ensure that they have clarity on their recruitment status, creating opportunities for constructive and collaborative two-way feedback to be exchanged on the process.
* Production and analysis of high-quality reports on recruitment activity and its effectiveness, including diversity reporting, on a regular basis
* Identify and implement key recruitment related reporting metrics and processes in line with the People KPI's

Essential Skills:

* Educated to degree level (ideally)
* CIPD Qualified desirable but not essential
* Knowledge of employment law and other legislation as relates to recruitment i.e Equality Act, GDPR
* You have successful experience in an in-house recruitment role managing a variety of different roles (including volume and niche hiring)
* Significant experience of managing agencies and 3rd party suppliers agreeing competitive terms of business
* You are highly skilled in interviewing both over the phone, via video and face to face.
* Experience of management (desirable)
* Experience gained from an operational multi-site business is highly advantageous.
* You will have up to date knowledge of current recruitment and selection practices and understanding of trends in candidate sourcing.
* You can demonstrate strong commercial awareness.
* You must be goal orientated, flexible, collaborative and able to work in a dynamic environment.
* You must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and database management and web-based ATS systems.
