AAT Accountant

My client, a well-respected Chartered Accountancy firm, is seeking a fully qualified AAT Accountant to join their new office in Northallerton.

The successful candidate must have:

- Level 4 AAT Qualification

- Relevant accounts experience and understanding

- Experience of preparing management accounts, prepayments and accruals

- Experience of preparing VAT returns and knowledge of allowable/disallowable items

- Must have strong Excel skills

For this role, the main duties will include:

- Preparation of sole trader, partnership, limited company, and any other accounts from manual and/or electronic records

- Prepare and present financial statements on our software

- Preparation of capital allowances computations, personal, partnership and company tax returns

- Review if any further services can be provided by WDS to increase fee income or areas to enhance client service

- Provide advice and support to other Accountants and Trainees when required
