Hays Senior Finance are Exclusively Partnered with a Charitable organisation who are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager. Working for a long-established Edinburgh based Charity, this opportunity will work as part of a growing organisation within the care sector and where you will develop relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders across Finance & Operations.

This role would suit a Qualified or Qualified by experience individual with an interest in working for a Charitable organisation that has an upstanding reputation within the care sector. The Finance Manager will be part of an established team and will report to the Head of Finance. Our Client offer a competitive benefits package including a generous pension of 15% pension, healthcare and over 30 days holiday.

Your new role
The Finance Manager will be involved in the end-end delivery of the Finance function with responsibility for 4 direct reports. This role will be exceptionally varied, from managing the month-end to supporting with process improvements and management accounts. The Finance Manager will develop strong working relationships with financial and non-financial stakeholders offering insight and guidance across budgeting, forecasting and consolidated reporting.

The Finance Manager will be involved in improving processes including enhancing current ways of working across financial systems and processes. Joining a fast paced and value for money approach, the finance manager will look to develop better ways of working and provide hands on management to the team to enable the team to develop.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience within the charitable or not for profit sector would be preferred but not essential. Experience working in a hands on environment and within a leadership capacity would also be useful. Strong sort skills including business partnering and providing insight to non-financial stakeholders will be essential.
