Accountant (Practice) | £25,000 - £28,000 | Greenhill

The Opportunity

You’ll ideally be AAT qualified and you need to have a track record of success within an accountancy practice (as semi senior / senior).

You’ll ideally already have experience of accounts preparation (for ltd companies, sole trader and partnerships) plus knowledge of corp and personal tax requirements.

You’ll have plenty of autonomy and client ownership - working with a diverse range of businesses across a host of different sectors. You’ll be producing accounts for partner level review and working with business owners to discuss trends, performance, costs and tax / business efficiencies.

You will be working in a collaborative small team (8 people) and have plenty of flexibility (hybrid working model with 2 days at home and 3 in the office).

The firm have invested in modern technology and software - it will certainly be a refreshing environment if you are coming from a more traditional firm of accountants who have been reluctant to invest in software or automation.

You need:

• Previous experience within a firm of accountants.
• Confidence when working with clients directly.
• Good IT literacy (use of Sage, Quickbooks or Xero).
• A proactive approach to managing your own time and workload.
